 Amenities to Enhance your Stay

     All our boutique hotel room rates are based on double occupancy and include the following:

  • Wireless internet in all public areas
  • Lush Organic bamboo robes (also for sale)
  • Bath salts (also for sale)
  • Use of the yoga studio for personal practice and for meditation
  • Use of Spa facilities: sauna, infinity pool, training equipment
  • Full enjoyment of our boutique lodge: open air patios and balconies, private library, and theater room
  • Complimentary self-parking
  • Sumptuous breakfast for two
  • Hiking trails on our 50 acres of private coastal lands for light hiking, jogging, meditative walks, and other quiet time in nature

     We are happy to arrange off-property activities. Guided hikes and excursions offered through the retreat carry an additional fee, depending upon number of participants and activity.

     Spa treatments and massages are available a la carte. Lunch and dinner are available for an additional fee.  All our meals include organic, home-grown fruits and vegetables.

     Special rates and inclusions apply to individual packages only.

Luxury Room Choices

Golden Penthouse
The Golden Penthouse is our most romantic accommodation, and is considered our Honeymoon Suite. It includes an expansive lanai that overlooks the cobalt blue Pacific. A claw-foot tub provides an unparalleled view of the ocean. The bathroom also has a separate shower. King-sized bed. $450 per night.
 

Crimson Royal Poinciana
A luxurious oceanfront room with a double shower, soaking tub and two queen-sized beds. This second-floor room has an exquisite view of the sea and gets afternoon light. $400 per night.
 

Peach Hibiscus
This beautiful oceanfront, second-floor room with morning light looks out over the blue ocean and ironwood forests. King-sized bed, double shower and soaking tub. $400 per night .


Violet Jacaranda
A restful ocean-front room on the second floor with a king-sized bed, afternoon light, and a sparkling view of both the ocean and a pine grove. $385 per night.


Yellow Hau
This lovely room on the second floor has a private balcony overlooking a valley full of fruit trees, kukui trees and swaying pines. It has two queen-sized beds and offers a soft morning light. $350 per night.
 

Green Gardenia
This comfortable, second-floor room with private balcony overlooks the reflective pool and fills up with warm morning light. King-sized bed. $300 per night.
 

Blue Morning Glory
The balcony of this lovely, second-floor room overlooks our meditative reflective pool. One king-sized bed; afternoon sunlight. $300 per night.
 

Rose Waterlily
This charming ground floor room has a private garden, two queen beds. Wheelchair-accessible. $300 per night.
 

Green Taro
With a private Garden, this fully wheelchair accessible room with ADA compliant accessories has a King Bed and Daybed and a walk in shower only. $275 per night.

Rates are based on double occupancy and require a two-night minimum. Taxes not included.

Email us to request or to inquire about reservations dates. Please include your phone number, so that we can speak with you directly to book your final reservation.

     All charges are in US dollars, unless otherwise specified. We accept VISA, Mastercharge, and personal checks.

    If you have special needs or requests, please let us know at the time of booking.

    Hawaii Island Retreat and its surrounding lands are NON-SMOKING areas.

Mimimum Stay

     We require a minimum 2-night stay. We are happy to extend your stay if your room is open or if another room is available. We are not able to offer refunds or adjustments to guests who arrive late or leave early.

 

Kama'aina Discount  

     We offer a 20% discount to kama'aina guests.                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Deposit and Payment

     A one night advance deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.

Arrival and Departure

     Please let us know your anticipated arrival times. Room check-out is 11am.

Transportation

     We can arrange airport pick-up for an additional fee. Please let us know if you need pick-up when your book your reservations. We well also require flight information.

     We have complimentary self-parking should you choose to rent a car.

Cancellation Fees

     $50 cancellation fee up to 30 days. Balance refunded.

     Within 29-14 days: $100 cancellation fee. Balance refunded.

     Within 14 days: $300 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fee Waiver

     The Cancellation Fee waiver option affords quests greater flexibility. The Waiver costs $50 per person per stay. It is non-transferable.

     With the Waiver, guests receive full refund up to 14 days prior to stay. Within 14 days, the deposit is held as a deposit for a future visit within one year.

Gift Certificates

     Surprise a friend or loved one with a visit to Hawaii Island Retreat or extra spa treatments during your stay. Gift certificates are available for room rates, spa services, guided trips, and private spa classes.

     Please call the reservations office to purchase gift certificates.

     Room certificates must be purchased at least 30 days prior to a planned visit.
